E IOR NEAK DAY Frrday Aprrl 24th at 4 O0 A M the Senror Class and thelr sponsors Mr Lewrer and Mr and Mrs Moore started for Omaha We arrrved rn Fremont at 6 OO After a good breakfast we went on to Boys Town A gurde showed us the pornts of rnterest By 9 4a we reached the Arrcraft Control and W arnrng Base An offrcer explarned the purpose of the base and how rt was operated We saw the control rooms and got an rdea of how the radar system works At noon we had a free lunch at Branders Department Store Wrth our stomachs satrsfred we began the after noon tour Frrst we went to the Darly World Herald Here we learned how the paper rs put out the processes that take place from the trme the news rs gathered untrl the papers are put on the trucks for delrvery Next we went to the KMTV Channel 3 TV Statron We saw the control rooms the studro and some of the props for the local programs We got a glrmpse of how a program rs put on the arr We found we had some trme left so we went out to the Arrport In the evemng we enjoyed a brg meal on the class treasury After a swell supper we went to the Cooper Theater to see South Pacrfrc lr was 12 OO mrdnrght when the bus was all gased up and we shoved off for home It was about 3 OO when we got back to St Ed We were all trred and glad to be home but we had a memory of an expenence that we wrll always remember the 1959 Sneak Day If we re gomg 1et's ge started I don't have my What a mess You guys are late Chemlstry Tlus IS KMTV???????? 15 Is there enough money to pay the b1ll? , . . . , . . . , . . , . . . . , . . . , . , . . . .
