This year's Crusader nine, coached by Bob Bates, put on a magnificent perform- ance in league competition. Although weak in depth, they were strong in spirit and play, losing only two games. Out' standing this year were two veterans, Iohn Blakely and Mike Mealey. Rookie Don Hunt showed his remarkable dia- mond skill as a capable and hard work- ing iirst baseman.
