VVe have enjoyed every moment ol our practices and have displayed our talent in various puhlic performances at the Preshyterian and Rel-ormed churches ol St. Bernard and at the high school assemhlies at Christmas and Easter. 0ur hig moment came when we perlormecl lor our parents on Fathers' Night. Nlany compliments were hestowecl upon us lor this performance, maliing us leel that all our practice had not heen in vain. Our last performance ot l94l was at commencement. Singing lrom the loottom ol our hearts, we hrightenecl the path lor the Senior graduates. As we glance through the recorcis of our meetings, we find that there were among our activities the trip with the Senior Girl Reserves to the Coca Cola Plant: the Christmas Partyg the tea which was given for the new memhers: our Sixtieth Anniversary Celehrationg the Easter Party: the Honor Party, which was given tor the seventh and eighth grade winners ot honors: and finally the liare- well picnic. The Recognition Service was the most outstanding event of the year. Our parents and friends who attencieci the service thought it to he one ot the hest ever given. The cooperation of all the memhers ot the .iunior and Senior Girl Reserves who tooli part made it so successful. For many ol us this is ollr last year in the .lunior Girl Reserves, hut to those who are lett. we hope you will continue to keep the true Girl Reserve spirit alive. The most important event ol the year was an impressive service of installation ol the chapter and initiation ol the memhers into the National Honor Society lJy the executive members ol the chapter ol Norwood High School, on April 25, in the auditorium, helore the entire student body ol our high school.
