After all, June isn't far off! 12 Election of class officers. 18 First issue of the Titans, Bark comes out. The Broom seems to be a popular column. I wonder why. 21 Beginning of the football season. Lost our first game to Deer Park. 28 First dance of the season given by the Hi-Y, with Wally Ballinger's orchestra. October 5 We scored our first touchdown in the game with Beading, but the score still came out 24-6 in their favor. i 12 Holiday. Played Lockland. Defeated. Darn our luck! 19 Anyway, the hot dogs were goodg that is, until it started to rain. Wyoming won. 25 Annual football dance, with music by Herb Mofford. 26 No school today! Why? Teachers' convention. Hurrah! November 2 North College Hill kept up our losing streak by defeating us. 3 A little late, but nevertheless, everyone had a good time at the P.T.A. Hallowe'en Dance.. 7 A L'hot time was enjoyed by all at the Sr. G.B. chili supper. 8 Mom finally let Pop out tonight, the occasion being P.T.A. Father's Night. 13 X-ray pictures were taken today. This just gives the teachers a better way to see right Hthroughi' us. 16 Big night for the juniors. Their play. Miss Jimmy, was a howling success. 30 The basketball season begins. We're expecting a lot from you fellows. December 1 The Titans lost the first two basketball games of the season. 8 Senior dance. An added attraction was the crowning of the King and Queen of Winter-Benny Hare and Frances Foster. 13 Oh, happy day, the seniors get their rings. They're pretty, too. 14 Victory, victory, is our cry! We beat Lockland 34-20. l guess that new electric score board brought us luck. 18 We did it again! The Titans defeated Hartwell. 21 Hallelujah! Christmas vacation begins. The commercial girls came all decked out for the holiday season. 28 An alumni game was won by our mighty Titans. January 2 Well, back to the old grind. What a way to start the new year. 41 The Titans put up a good fight but lost to N.C.H. 32-31. 15 What a game! It sure was tough to lose to Heading, but we went down fighting. The score? 30-28. 16 Here we go, for better or for worse. Exams start today. 17 Same thing-Exams. 18 Still at it. Thank heavens, itis the last day. 21 Miss Morgan came in late. Exams were too much for her, 1 guess. February 8 N.C.H. beat us again. Well, weire still in first place, that is, we're tied with them. 11 Miss Morgan takes a day off-guess the Senior Class is getting her down! 15 Lost again to Reading. 21 Flash! No. 1. The Senior Girl Reserve Dance, with music by Cecil Young and his orchestra. 26 Bacon threw us for a loss. March 1 An entertaining play given by the speech class. 4 Southwestern Ohio Basketball Tournament begins. VVe played and lo-t in New Richmond. 14 P.T.A. Open House. And did it rain! 15 Benefit games for new Cheerleader costumes. Shamrock Trot sport-onml by the Junior Girl Reserves. I 28 Baseball at last. We won over Norwood. 29 Something a little different in the line of plays was presented by ann' H it 1 r Class this year ..... the drama Lavendar and Old Lace. April 2 Miss Morgan likes the Senior Class so much that she invited .. Q slay after school with her. 12 Canteen sponsored by the Alumni Association.
