Our program has been one of pushing and pulling. working hand in hand. During our Freshman year our activity was, mainly, one of adapting ourselves to the new life into which we had grown. Wide-eyed and inexperiencecl, we tried cautiously each new step. Encouraged by the success of the preceding year and accustomed to the routine, we sophomores felt that we were a big part of St. Bernarcl High ancl were ready for important castings in our high school activities. Our junior year was one of continual action. VVith an outstanding play anti our prom in view, we conned our lines and polished our manners and minds, eni joying every new experience. 1941 I I I I My, how time does Hy. The stage has been set for the last time in our high school days. VVe have confidence that we have acted our parts K to the best of our ability. VVe hope to he remembered always as the Class of ,41 . We now stand facing an unknown future of untried roles with the aim of enriching the stage of life with all the Finer things of which we are capahle. VVl'len we entered the seventh grade, the sistix plan was adopted, providing for six years of high school study. We feel that this additional training has en- abled us to meet many school problems more successfully. As we will be the seniors of the coming year, we have had to think more serious'y this year of attaining our goals. VVe produced a record play, led a movcmcnt to adopt a standard seal, and sponsored dancing classes. which assured us a succesanI Junior Prom. Although we have striven hard this year, we will have to redouble our eHorts in the future if we are to measure up to the standards set by the uSeniors of '41.
