ac tlwlties Our activities . . . as varied as the gems of the world and to each one of us, Basilianettes, they are iust as precious. Within the pages that follow we, departing seniors, wish to display, to you, our readers, the innumerable ioys and information that have been impregnated in us through our programs. From the moment of our debut into the realms of Saint Basil Academy's activities, as little sisters, to the day we received our own little sisters, each Basilianette tried to place all of herself into each program, whether academic or social, and obtain in return the infinite ioys and values that follow. Furthering our academic life each class presents annual class proiects: Freshman's unforgettable Valentine's Day, the Saint Patrick Day's Program by our Irish-for-the-day Sophomores and the numerous skits presented by our classes. We learned the spirit of giving pleasure to others as we, as Sophs, took the children from Saint Basil's Home on a picnic and the spirit of giving guidance, as we, as seniors, try to fill our roles as big sisters to the utmost. Our social life is broadened by many school functions . . . perhaps the most outstanding is the Junior-Senior Prom. By these functions we are not only deriving fun and storing fond memories but we also are schooled in the ways of proper social etiquette. For it was through all these activities and the many more that are not mentioned that we, as Catholic seniors and women, have been able to realize our obligations to society and our responsibilities in order that we may take our place in the line of ideal Catholic citizens. 63
