Under the competent direction of Sister M. Athanasius, we of the 1960 staff of the BASILIAN TORCH have strived to bring to you an interesting and colorful account of Saint Basil Academy news. It was not unusual this past year to see a Basilianette industriously making notes at hockey and basketball games or interviewing a club president or dance chairman. Material to gather, articles to write, proofs to read, deadlines to meet, it is over. Never more will we see expressions of excitement and anticipation on the faces of our friends and classmates as the BASILIAN TORCH is distributed. We have derived much from our work on the paper. Now that our task is completed, we leave our paper to the future iournalists of Saint Basil Academy with the sincere hope that the BASILIAN TORCH may become even greater and more widespread. to be typed later.
