Every Christmas season we help to make the shoppers' world a little brighter by singing carols, as busy people scurry to and fro attempting to finish their holiday shop- ping in Strawbridge and Clothier's store in Jenkintown. This year, the Glee Club had the privilege of singing at the annual bazaar. As we sang from the balcony, familiar heads passed beneath us and sometimes stole an upward glance. The month of April brings the operetta with all its splendor and gaity. No one is seen idle during this period, for all its members are either rehearsing or pre- paring costumes for the forthcoming event. Now that we are part of the alumnae of S. B. A., we look back on the ioys and memories that the Glee Club has brought us, and hope that we will never forget what we have learned in this organization. 1 1 1

Cgaalent and cgngenuitcg Gomprise Shadows, nc. 9 As we enter the fifth year of the Shadows Inc., we want to thank you, dear parents, for the cool touch of your remembering helping hand. The talents we have found here in ourselves have been brought about by the everlasting encouragement you have always shown. Sometimes, we like to look back to our drawing- coloring book days when the world looked so big ahead of us, and we remember that it was our parents who even at that early date encouraged our talents. In number we may be small, but our work is varied from the advertising in the corridors, to the patron drives, operettas, and the annual painting contest held at Strawbridge and Clothier in Jenkintown. Our high ideals and our artist dreams came true through you dear parents. f 5 4 4 sxfei c.,. be 4- xggeig LV M -A , -.47 . MQ .c.,., Q -f' 6. 2 ,- crgee ' if - if Q.
