inis Now is the hour that we must say goodbye. And so, with heavy hearts and tear-filled eyes, we stop to glance, iust once more, at all the wonderful days and hours that we have spent here at our beloved academy and to refresh our minds so that we may always hold these memories true. A challenge was aimed at us--the class of '60-to prove ourselves worthy of the title 'lwomen of tomorrow, and we have answered it boldly and directly. By studying and learning at Saint Basil's these last four years, we have, inch by inch, gained the necessary knowledge and experience which is expected of us. We have strengthened our characters by the help of God through our religious training which has prepared us to cope with a secular world. All the activities of our high school years have helped to till our school days with happiness, but we know that nothing can be successful in its purpose unless there is a central theme - a single unit- Togetherness - and this we possess. We have left our mark, our imprint, on Saint Basil's-on the stage, on the hockey field, on the basketball court, at the Grotto, in the corridors, desks, and doors, but most of all in the chapel where prayers of all descriptions have been offered to bring divine assistance to us in our teenage years. So now, we stand, armed with our knowledge, as the knight with his shield, ready and able to answer the challenge, ready and able to make our debut as responsible citizens of our nation. 165
