,..-u' l f 8I'll.Ol'S On June 12 the class of 1960 will assemble for the last time as students of St. Basil Academy. We have come a long way, even though it seems only a short time since we enrolled as freshmen with four endless years ahead of us. Thanks to our dear parents and devoted nuns, upon graduation we shall embark upon a new sphere of life as capable Catholic women. As you turn the pages of this section--the last days of high school-visualize with us each of our memorable events. Ring day, the long-awaited dances, proms, and operettas- these were moments we shall always remember and cherish. You may not have been at each of these activities, dear parents, but with your image firmly implanted in our minds and hearts, we en- deavored to make you, as well as our beloved teachers, proud that we are your children. Now, as we don the traditional cap and gown, we realize that the task is now ours to prove our loyalty to you through God, our church and state, showing you that your sacrifices have been worth while. As we nervously walk down the aisle on graduation day, we hope you will be proud of your Basilianette daughters, who when receiving their diploma will be transformed into loyal Catholic citizens and young ladies of the future.
