Yes, it is true, we have come a long way. Now we feel we are ready to go out into this much troubled world of ours as fine American citizens. As a preparation for this we became acquainted with different countries by study- ing a few of their languages. The result of these years of studying has given us a better knowledge and under- standing of our brothers and sisters afar. Oh, it was difficult, memorizing the Latin and Spanish vocabulary, and learning the correct pronunciation of French and German. lt too, took a while until we became fully ac- quainted with the Ukrainian alphabet. Now we have a feeling of accomplishment. We feel we have something, something no one but God himself will ever be able to take from us-knowledge-the backbone of a good Christian citizen. 1 4 TR Sister M.
