Remembering this, dear Mother, delegates from St. Basil Academy attended the School Publications Conference held at Villanova University in October. The purpose of this conference was to instruct and aid student iournalists in editing high-school publications. The Very Rev. James A. Donnellon, OSA, president of Villanova gave the welcoming address. Among the guest speakers was Eddie Dowling, well known playwright and Broadway personality. Other famous personalities scheduled to speak during the sessions were: James T. Quirk, publisher of TV Guide Magazine, Patricia Carbine of Look Magazine. Carl Wolf, of the Carl Wolf Photographic Studios, Rev. Anthony L. Ostheimer, Ph.D., editor of the Catholic Standard and Times, and John Liney, cartoonist ofthe comic strip Henry. Sylvia Tierney, our own Basilianette co- editor, represented SBA in a panel discussion on the qualities of a prize-winning yearbook. Reverend James A.
