D--Y Upon entering SBA we found that we would have the opportunity to receive full com- mercial training. Freshmen year gave us our background in general business. Sophomore year brought bookkeeping into our cur- riculum, thus expanding our knowledge. Even though we spent many hours on numbers and worksheets, the balanced books proved a worthy reward. Shorthand and typing were introduced to us in our iunior year. Our classes were turned into model offices as we learned to apply speed and accuracy to these skills. Business English aFlords us an excellent refresher course in speaking and writing which is so necessary in our communicative world. As we advanced in shorthand and typing in our senior year we were given an inside look at office procedures in our office practice classes. The women that SBA molds have full training in religion, as well as business, and can certainly be considered ready to work in today's irreligious commercial world.
