6 tw youre oon t As we now close the doors to our hugh school days and take our place un the world as Chrustuan women we thank you Blessed Lady for makung avaulable to us the opportunuty of obtaunung a sound Catholuc educatuon un an Academy such as Saunt Basul s A loyal alumnae we wall always be proud to say that we spent four of the happuest years of our Iuves at Saunt Basul Academy we are proud to be the twenty fifth graduatung class We wull cherush forever the wonderful moments we experuenced and shared wuth our classmates who have become lufe long fruends We wull remember the first tume we unuted as a class the freshman class of 1956--on September nunth of 1955 Under the guudance of our moderators we enuoyed the thrull of watchung our class protects fulfill theur ultumate goals through the co operatuon of gurls who had been gufted wuth the true Basuluan spurut We enloyed sharung the fruuts of our labors as we accomplushed them through the spurut of class co operatuon Through the varuous outlets of extra currucular actuvutnes spon sored by S B A we the class of 59 were taught the true meamng of an unselflsh altutude The spurutual moments that we shared un common durung our novenas retreats and pulgrumages served to ourselves unduvudually and as a class S B A not only unstulled wuthun us the ways of lufe that lead ultumately to success un socual lufe S B A taught us the puruty of truth the greatness of knowledge the dugnuty of labor the warmth of a smule and the true purpose of our earthly exustence Our years at Saunt Basul s have guven us a true unsught unto the words of a Greek phulosopher by the name of Plutarch who saud Lufe us but a moment a speck of tume eternal let us not spend tt un wasted purpose We now are faced wuth a great task we must loun the ranks of our predecessors We must make our mark upon humanuty rememberung always that we carry un our hands the reputatuon and future hopes of S B A We faced wuth thus seemungly overwhelmung responsubuluty must quuckly respond wullungly to our desugnated roles We all through lufe shall remember and be grateful for the fateful role Saunt Basul Academy had played un the formatuon of our luves J It 'W I . . . . . . . . . ., 1 S i I . . . , . . . ., , , .
