College Entrance Exams . . , Dianna Watson, Helena Felix, Joan Kriz, Sandra Kress and Mary Miltz wonder how hard they will be. Dear Blessed Mother, where has the time gone? Four years ago we walked through the open doors of Saint Basil Academy for the first time, and we were frightened. Everything about us was strange and un- familiar, each passing hour held many new surprises for us. You helped us in that hour of peril, you helped us advance in our studies, you showed us the path to follow to be a credit to our school and our faculty. Through our sophomore and iunior year you guided us, Mary, and we were grateful. Then our senior year was upon us, and once again we were frightened. Were we ready to assume the responsibility of the oldest class in the school? We prayed to you and asked for your assistance. You helped us to realize that we must be ready, for no one would take our place. By co-operating with your graces we succeeded in making our senior year both profitable and happy. The following pages will help tell the story of the wonderful year-our senior year. They will capture some never-to-be-forgotten, happy moments spent with our faculty and our friends. The graduating class of 1959 wishes to thank you, dear Mother, for giving us your aid throughout our school years. We hope you will stay close to us always. We thank you for helping us become good Christian women by teaching us to imitate you- The Perfect Christian Woman. ii
