Aves and Gbixies om, ur Stage The auditorium was converted into a reasonable facsimile of Santa's workshop that day as we presented A Christmas Crisis. Santa was sick and it was iust two days before he was to leave on his trip to the homes of good boys and girls. A worried look was worn by all concerned as the doctor said he doubted if Santa would be able to make it this year. The cause seemed hopeless until one of the elves presented the problem to the Fairy Princess, and she immediately had a solution. She gave the elf a magic pill, half of which Santa took. The other half was grown into a whole pill so there would never again be the danger of Santa's not coming on Christmas Eve. Faces lit up and bright eyes beamed with ioy for every one was sure that Santa Claus was coming to town. Toy soldiers, elves, a fairy princess, Mrs. Claus, and Santa himself honored us with their presence on the afternoon of December 13, 1958.
