BLM MIQS We thank you, dear Blessed Lady, for assisting your Divine Son in guiding the Sisters of St. Basil the Great some forty years ago to this country, to Philadelphia, to Fox Chase, where twenty-eight years ago in a perfect location for a Catholic girls' academy, they founded Saint Basil Academy. The suburban atmosphere of the Academy attracts many girls, both day and resident students. The resident students come from many varied parts of your Son's world: Ukraine, Germany, Honduras, Egypt, South America, Ohio, Connecticut, New Jersey, Illinois, Balti- more, New York, and of course, Philadelphia. lt seems to make no difference, Blessed Lady, where an S. B. A. girl originates because each one of us experiences the warm bond- age that exists as we share and appreciate the same beloved high- lights of our beautiful campus such as your grotto, Blessed Lady, with its cool, fresh water from the spring, the new addition of the marble statue of you seemingly guarding us from the enemies of Christian womanhood, the swimming pool, tennis and basketball courts where we take advantage of the opportunity to co-operate with your Son in the development of healthy Christian minds and bodies, and per- haps, Blessed Lady, do we feel your guidance best when we share the classrooms in which you guide our teachers to impart to us the vast amount of knowledge that will prepare us to tread the path of life in this modern world as true Christian women.
