town for Cindy Weeks of planning, projects, and panic-stricken pleas for more contributions were climaxed by Mission Day, February 26. Pizza sales, cake walks, raffles, undisguised shameless begging, and a final, frantic fund-raising rally were only a few of the methods employed by each class to earn the most money and the crown for its candidate. This year, senior Cindy Kondusky reigned over Mission Day festivities which included a talent show and movie, The Diary of Anne Frank. The proceeds from this year's highly successful mission drive were sent to the Holy Names' missions in Basutoland, South Africa, and Arequipa, Peru. One for you, two for me. Seniors become skilled money counters during mission drive. With all this money, we're bound to win! 95 a u And where we stop nobody knows. Cake-walk raises money for missions.

Spotlight I1 Science From small beginnings, the science fair has expanded so steadily that this year visiting parents, teachers, and scientists crowded to view the experi- ments of our promising science students. On March 10 the doors of the auditorium opened to reveal impressive exhibits entered under the cate- gories of physical, biological, and general science. Each display was strictly judged according to sci- entific thought, creative ability, thoroughness, skill, clarity, and dramatic value. Imagination, in- genuity, and originality were especially evident in the winning exhibits. Projects ranged from an analysis of the effects of temperature changes on guppies to a study of the dynamics of a ping pong ball, but fun, excitement, and increased knowledge were common elements shared by all exhibitors.
