Mothers Enjo nnual Tea Senior hostesses preside at urns. Faculty and Student Council welcome mothers and daughters. One of the most enjoyable social functions of the year was the annual Mother-Daughter Tea on Novem- ber 18, climaxing the careful preparations of the senior class under Social Chairman, Susan Steyart. All the parents were pleased with a return to the former plan affording the mothers of underclassmen as well as those of the juniors and seniors the opportunity of meeting the faculty members socially. Linda Taylor helps Cynthia Holt at the refreshment table.

The lyrics of When You Wish Upon A Star match the thoughts of the Royal Court as they begin the Queen's Dance. The Royal Fantasy theme of the annual G.A.A. Ball was skillfully carried out with graceful fes- toons of angelhair which glistened under the soft blue lights and silver stars. The royal court was chosen from candidates representing every home- room who had competed for the coveted honors of the evening. Guests exclaimed delightedly when G.A.A. President Elaine Vilven announced Rita Ottoson as the reigning queen. Striking up for the Command Performance , the Royal Aires played Ro al Fantasy ws? fe JL V V if et,, I i Smiling radiantly, Rita Ottoson is crowned queen by G.A.A. Presiden Elaine Vilven.
