Drama student, Kathy Ross, portrays the character of an angry mother. Physical Education, dancing, clothing and drama are the special interest courses offered at St. Andrew's. Physical fitness, a knowledge of basic rules and good sportsmanship are the re- sults of gym classes at St. Andrew's. Dancing is a class taken by sophomores which teaches them basic dance steps and social etiquette. The terms bias, selvedge, and placket are familiar to cloth- ing students who learn the useful art of sewing. In our business department, potential secretaries are taught the use of various types of modern office equipment. Stu- dents of typing learn the fundamentals of office work as well as first aid for bro- ken finger nails. Although Gregg short- hand seems confusing at first, future stenographers master the skill of turning words into legible signs. The most notice- able results of the bookkeeping class are uncluttered desks and organized files. An important part of their course is learning proper selection of clothes, becoming hair styles, and the general deportment a secretary needs.
