Religion Studying the New Testament and the Ten Commandments, freshmen learn that all law comes from God, and leads back to Him. Building on the basic truths learned in the previous year, sophomores study Christ as Redeemer through whom they share in the life of grace by means of prayer and the Sacraments. To inspire the junior students to a vol- untary participation in the liturgy of the Church, they are led to a recognition of the Holy Spirit as the dominant force in their lives. Seniors study vocation as the sphere in which the life of love reaches perfection, be- coming for them a blueprint for personal happiness. Considerations on the meaning of the Ecumenical Council, why it was called, what it will do, and how it will work, have been incorporated in the religion course. Students of Religion II explain symbols representing Christ as the Prince of Peace and the beginning and end of all things The Ecumenical Council is you! Religion III students set out to discover their part in the life of the church In the Marriage Guidance Course, Father Acton exchanges views with the seniors on the quali- ties of the ideal husband.
