On Wednesday, December 5, 65 altar boys of the parish were enrolled as members of the Knights of the Altar by the national director of the organization, Reverend Frank Gartland, C. S. C., of Notre Dame, Indiana. At this ceremony the altar boys received their new liturgical surplices from the pastor and pledged themselves to be faithful in all their duties as Knights of the Altar. Michael Hart was appointed to be supreme Grand Knight for the year 1956-57. ! L L if?
