Games Three Bulldogs combine their efforts to bring down a rlmner from SS. Peter and Paul . October 16, 1955 St. Stanislaus The bulldogs won their fourth game in five starts, and gained at least a share of the V.P.L. title by romping over St. Stanislaus 31-12 on a rain drenched field. Once again it was the Bull dogs' powerful running attack that provided the victory. October 21, 1955 Alma High St. Andrew's crackling ground attack made a shamble of one of the state's best defensive records as the Bulldogs smashed Alma High 34-14. It was the Bulldogs fifth triumph in six starts this season. October 28, 1955 Mt. Pleasant With quarterback, Bruce Gnatkowski injm-ed early in the game, the Bulldogs could not over- come the handicap as the Mt. Pleasant Oilers went to hand St. Andrew its second loss of the season by a score of 13-6. November 6, 1955 SS. Peter S Paul By downing SS. Peter S Paul with a score of 18-6 St. Andrew's became the Valley Parochial League B Division high school football champions. The Bulldogs had to slosh through rain, snow, and mud to defeat their traditional West Side rivals in what was a very close game until the last quarter when the Bulldogs scored their two winning touchdowns. November 13, 1955 St, Mary Mt. Clemens A highly successful season was brought to a close by downing the rugged Mountaineers of St. Mary, Mt. Clemens 38-7. he attempts to escape the tacklers
