Christ also walks with us today as we prepare our way of life through our Catholic education. He is at our side when, with a lively curiosity and a firm belief in God and ourselves, we explore the wonders of the world around us, train our minds in logic and quick thinking, learn to express ourselves in beautiful words with clear meanings, and draw from past and present experiences, the lessons that will help us forge a better world. Walking with Christ, we face with confidence the prospect of building for ourselves a better world here on earth and winning a place in heaven. Altar Boys To be a Knight of the Altar is a privilege that any boy might well be proud of. Senior boys who have given faithful service through the years are, L. to R.: President john Laundra., Thomas McCartney, Carl Roeser, Patrick Lafferty, Bernard Smillie, Frederick Roeder, james Mclntyre, and Phillip Gase. Remembering This year, on March 2, His Holiness, Pope Pius XII celebrated his eightieth birthday. In commemoration of this memorable event, the entire St. Andrew student body attended a Holy Hour in his honor praying for him and his intentions. Rev. Father O'Connor, pastor, is pictured presenting a talk on the life of our beloved Pope. -Q-I

The p1ay's the thing'-this may be said of the sophomore English class as they exercise their creative talents in writing and acting in one-act plays.
