Defense sfamps were sold during 'rhe course of lhe evening, and only lhose who had boughl sfamps were allowed lo parlicipale in lhe ninrh dance, approprialely called lhe Vic+ory Dance. The ballroom of rhe Ellcs' Club provided a suilable selling lor lhe affair. Johnny ..lay's orcheslra was a source of delighr lo lhe dancers.
