Her crew were eager to return home after a successful six-month cruise. Family and friends waited anxiously on the pier to catch a glimpse of their loved ones as they arrived. As the ship passed the familiar buoys marking entrance to the basin, the excitement and anticipation could be seen on faces all around the ship. The moment that the brow was finally secured and with roses inhand, the crew rushed out to reunite with their loved ones in tearful embrace. There are few people who can truly understand a the joy associated with a homecoming, but for those that experienced it firsthand, the memories will surely last a lifetime. -1 - .
