Schweinfurth A native of upstate New York, Lieutenant Commander Schweinfurth graduated from Ithaca College in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications. She received her commission from Officer Candidate 5Ch001, Newport, Rhode lsland. During her career, she has served in numerous sea duty billets including CIC Officer and Deck Division Officer in USS PYRO CAE 245, Electronic Warfare Officer in USS FOX CCG 335, First Lieutenant in USS MERRIMACK CAO 1795, Operations Officer in USS CARON CDD 9705 and First Lieutenant in USS CORONADO CAGF 115. Her shore assignments have included Naval Reserve Center Glens Falls, New York where she served as Commanding Officer, and Chief of Naval Operations Total Force Manpower and Planning CN 125 where she served as the lead Reserve Shore and Battle Force Manpower Analyst. Hamel, a native of Methuen, Massachusetts, received his commission in the United States Naval Reserve in 1985, from Massachusetts Maritime Academy. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree ln Marine Transportation and a Master of Science Degree in Financial Management from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey California. He has completed his Ioint Professional Military Education, Phase One. His sea tours include assignment to USS OLIVER HAZARD PERRY QFFG 711 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, from 1985 - 1988 as First Lieutenant and Combat Information Center Officer, completing a Recruiting Command sponsored Great Lakes Cruise in 1987. He then served as Operations Officer in both USS BADGER CFF 10715 in1991 and at Destroyer Squadron 25, from 1992 -1998 both in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii deplOYiU8 to the Navy Central Command, Fifth Fleet, and conducting bi-lateral and tri-lateral exercises with variouS gulf nations. During his next sea tour in 1995-1996, he served as pre-commissioning Ships Material Maintenance Officer in USS BOXER CLHD All, home ported in San Diego, CA. There he conducted over SB54M in electronic suite upgrades and fitting out enhancements, preparing USS BOXER for her maiden deployment. He then served his Executive Officer tour in USS HARPERS FERRY QLSD 495, where he completed the advanced phase of the ship's lnter-Deployment Training Cycle and deployed back to Seventh and Fifth Fleets with the Thirteenth Marine Embarkation Unit in the BOXER ARG during 1999. A graduate of Bayonne High School, he enlisted in the Navy in October 1982, and received recruit training at Recruit Training Center, Great Lakes, Illinois. Following completion of Engineman A school, he reported to Ship Repair Facility Guantanamo Bill' Cuba. Upon completion of his tour Master Chief Finck reported to the USS FAIRFAX COUNTY CLST11935111 Little Creek, Virginia. While onboard, he was assigned to the Main Propulsion and Auxiliaries Divisions- lg 1987, he transferred to Naval Reserve Center, Burlington, Vermont. While stationed in Burlington, he serve as the center's Training Officer and earned the distinction as the command's Sailor of the Year for 1989- d Upon completion of shore duty, Master Chief Finck reported to the USS VREELAND CPF 10655 Stallone in Mayport, Florida. He served as the Auxiliaries Division Leading Petty Officer and participated in Operation Desert Shield X Desert Storm. In June 1992, Master Chief Finck reported to the USS JOHN HANCO ' CK CDD 9815. While onboard, he attended the Recovery, Assist Secure and Traverse mechanical systems school and assumed the duties as acting Leading Chief Pett Officer for Auxiliaries Division. Y .
