The newest section in the S.H.S. Annual is The Campus Cuties. We thought it was about time we put some of our adorable guys in the spotlight. This years overall winner is David Nolan, he had the most votes from the three classes. We hope this will become a tradition that will be carried on through the years at S.H.S. Coach Tom Sanders came in and did a super job of coaching, guiding the Tigers to a 16 8 overall record. The Tigers won 5 of their first 7 games and headed into their Christmas Tournament with high hopes, but lost in the finals to Locust Fork. Jimmy Peoples and Duane Gordon made the all-tournament team. Springville was seeded first in the county tournament with a 9-4 record. The Tigers took a injured and battered crew to the tournament and lost to Pell City in the semi- finals. Jimmy Peoples and Drew Goolsby made the All-tournament team. The Tigers carried a 6 game winning streak into the area tour- nament and beat Cleveland in the opening round then lost to Oneonta in the semi-finals. Jimmy Peoples and Chad Leopard make the all-area squad. The Tigers are graduating 10 of the 12 players with Jimmy Peoples and Brian Terry returning. Jimmy Peoples and Chad Leopard made All-County w hich was selected at the end of the year.
