THE 1973 TIGER SPRINGVILLE HIGH SCHOOL EDITORS: Martha Colley Cathy Nolan SPRING VIL LE ’ HIGH SCHOBL mf an . TIGERS These walls harbor memories which will never be forgotten. 3 THE OLD AND THE NEW Although many incidents occurred dur- ing this school year, the main event was the tearing down of the old school and the building of the new. The students will en- joy the new school but will always hold memories of the past school years at S.H.S. Each student’s life will be changing by leaving behind the old and picking up the new. We, as Seniors, whether we plan to continue our education or accept other new responsibilities, will always have with us the memories of our old school life at S.H.S. Because of your complete and unselfish devotion to us— Because of your tireless and ceaseless work in our behalf— Because to you we are each an individual with very real and personal problems And because your faith, guidance, understanding, and love have enabled us to reach this milestone— We, Seniors of 1 973, lovingly dedicate this book to you. He said goodbye to no one. His loving heart had ceased to be Before we knew he had gone. Friends may think the grief has left us, Though smile may hide the tears. All of the Springviile's stu- dents will note that this year was one of growth and change for Springville. We saw our old school building re- moved and a new one begun and we watched with much anticipation as the new one took shape. This year had its problems as we moved from various buildings in order to have space for classes, yet, we were able to see much progress develop as the year went along. We shall look forward to the new year and a new school to begin that year in. 108 109 COMPLIMENTS OF Burgess Clinic Dr. and Mrs. James Burgess Pearson Lumber Company Hardware, Lumber and Building Material P.
