THE NINETEEN HUNDRED AND FIFTY-SEVEN TIGER PUBLISHED BY THE SENIOR CLASS OF SPRINGVILLE HIGH Springville, Alabama MR. SUTTON Principal, Springville High To the Seniors: Today is a new page of life. The leaves of yes- terday have faded into the past, and tomorrow - ah, yes, those bright new pages of tomorrow, what won- derful secrets they hold for you. You cannot add one line, not even one letter to the turned pages of the past. Right now you may be preparing and even add- ing new principles to guide you in that tomorrow. And what will that tomorrow hold for you? Only those fine things that today you are willing to work for, and for which your thinking is attuned. The sordid, sorry life comes from not caring, from drifting, from selfish thinking and desiring. The pages of tomorrow will in a few more years yield knowledge which we do not now envision. It will take courage to keep your life keen, to contri- bute your share, and to be able to share fully the golden opportunities ahead.
