To provide recreational activities that are interesting and worth- while for every boy and girl in Senior High School is the ideal of all pupil and faculty groups who are working with extra-curriculum activities. The new auditorium is a boon for such a program, for it will continue to provide innumerable opportunities for all types of programs, as well as for group meetings. Plans are also being made to equip one of the former cafeteria rooms as a recreation room next fall to serve for small parties and group gatherings before and after school and during the noon hour. It is hoped this room will also lend itself to informal class programs during the school day. An opportunity for a flexible period within the school day, to accommodate pupil groups when they find a common interest which they wish to pursue further than the limits of the classroom program permit, is offered by the new schedule. These three new factorse- the auditorium, the recreation room, and the activity period - should do much to round out the excellent program already provided by our various school departments and our activity ticket fund.
