STUDENT LIFE As the reminiscence of summer Still lingered about, Our minds and bodies were sluggish. Gradually the pace quickened Until the steady throbbing Of student life was everywhere. The planning and carrying out of Dances, performances, and projects Filled our spare time. Let freedom The end of summer and The return of school Brought the student body Back to conformity. Hair had to be trimmed and Sleepy minds reawakened. This year we had the choice Of time to attend classes. The 7:10 class allowed Seniors to take only Four classes and have time For an afternoon iob. 8:10 was the class most of Us favored and a 9:10 class Was provided for late sleepers. The first day brought long Lines of impatient students Outside the counselors' Door for schedule changes. Mass congestion was the Result of the crowded Mixed lunch sessions. But the brighter side Showed the uniting of Friends, old and new. And we were able to get Together and express Our ideas as a group. 5 taken and lockers are assigned in the usual chaos of first day in girls' P.E.
