With this team effort it looked like The Tigers had championship status. District wqs at stake when the Tigers traveled to Cy-Fair and They played like it for exactly one quarter. Then the ceiling fell in on the Tigers. The Bobcats took a five point lead at halftime and Keptuadding to it until they ran the Tigers off the court 79-62. This was the worst beating the Tigers had taken all year. Mathematically the Tigers still had a chance to come in first, But Spring Branch and Conroe had other ideas. The Bears took a last second victory upending the Tigers 59'-57. Miracles never cease to happen as Cy-Fair also Lost keeping SW in contention. Finishing on a disenchanting note the Tigers fell to Conroe 54-53. SW came in second in district with a 28-7 record and Cy-Fair wski shoots from the Went on to beat Wheatley for the state championship. ' for two. -.....,.
