Tigers continue nU,, impressive showing The Tigers romped by MacArthur 74-57 Continuing their great team play. Behind at the beginning, The Tigers recovered quickly behind the Consistent play of James Derkowski. Aldine was next to fall, But the Tigers had to fight to the end For victory. Bill Chisman's 21 points paced the Tigers to the 59-53 victory. Cy-Fair entered the Tiger den in second Place and left tied for first with the Tigers. lt was a close game until the fourth quarter Where upon the Bobcats left the Tigers Standing still. With this splurge Cy-Fair Rolled to a 61-51 victory. Wasting no time regaining their poise The Tigers ripped Spring Branch 85-67. Barry Hartman had his most productive game Of the year with a 31 point night. Bill Chisman also netted 21 points as the Bears could not handle the Tigers' fastbreak. Traveling to Conroe the Tigers had nothing ln their minds except coming away with a Win of some kind. The Tigers iumped to an 1 1-O lead before Giving up any points, They then proceeded to roll up a 33-15 Halftime lead. Conroe rallied early in the third quarter But could not keep pace with the Hot shooting Tigers. Behind James Derkowski the Tigers Rambled by Conroe 78-52.

l James Derkowski shows his but form in shooting from Tiger chances look brighter The second half of district started out almost Ruining the Tigers but the worst was yet to come. Westchester opened up an early lead on the Tigers, But with less than one minute left in the half Whittled a 7 point lead down to l with three quick steals. The second half was nip and tuck with Robert Burg Finally icing the game away on a layup With 5 seconds left making the score 68-64. Next came the rematch with Memorial. Revenge was written all over the Mustangs faces But the Tigers quickly squelched their thoughts. Memorial took a quick lead, But Spring Woods reeled off l 'l straight points and Left the Mustangs standing still. The Tigers rolled to an impressive 74-58 Victory to keep pace with Cy-Fair. MacArthur kept the Tigers at bay until the last Three minutesof the game whereupon Bill Chisman and James Derkowski shot the Tigers from an 8 point deficit Into a 75-69 victory.
