D Barry Hartman and James Derkowski Dominated the game on the boards and in scoring. History was made when the Tigers played the Memorial Mustangs. Memorial had won 81 district games in a row, But the Tigers were Determined to see that they would not be number 82. SW set the pace from the tip And never let up, Stunning the Mustangs 56-43. The Tigers stingy defense kept Memorial Outside all night, And they could never find their range. Derkowski and Harman again dominated the game. 7

Tigers continue nU,, impressive showing The Tigers romped by MacArthur 74-57 Continuing their great team play. Behind at the beginning, The Tigers recovered quickly behind the Consistent play of James Derkowski. Aldine was next to fall, But the Tigers had to fight to the end For victory. Bill Chisman's 21 points paced the Tigers to the 59-53 victory. Cy-Fair entered the Tiger den in second Place and left tied for first with the Tigers. lt was a close game until the fourth quarter Where upon the Bobcats left the Tigers Standing still. With this splurge Cy-Fair Rolled to a 61-51 victory. Wasting no time regaining their poise The Tigers ripped Spring Branch 85-67. Barry Hartman had his most productive game Of the year with a 31 point night. Bill Chisman also netted 21 points as the Bears could not handle the Tigers' fastbreak. Traveling to Conroe the Tigers had nothing ln their minds except coming away with a Win of some kind. The Tigers iumped to an 1 1-O lead before Giving up any points, They then proceeded to roll up a 33-15 Halftime lead. Conroe rallied early in the third quarter But could not keep pace with the Hot shooting Tigers. Behind James Derkowski the Tigers Rambled by Conroe 78-52.
