Carolyn Sifllsbllltgil, literary editor, searches for a photograph with Lois King, associate editor. The Production Team Coming forward to take a deserved bow is the group representing the backbone of this theatrical venture- the production team of The F orge. Taken as a whole., it was their difficult duty to see that every detail of the entire show was perfected for the premiere. The au- thority of the executive producer rested in the hands of the editor-in-chief, Mary Ann Sprenkle. Assistance for her was provided by the associate editor, Lois King, and the literary editor, Carolyn Strasbaugh. Designing our background set was Dorothy Orndorff, the art and layout editor. Tapping away at the typewritten script was the business editor., Marian Newcomer. The custo- dian of the hackers' fund was Stephen Hinman, finance manager. Last, hut not least, was the head of the stu- dent photographers, Steve Senft. 43' iff! Z ,- 'M ' With pencil in hand, Dorothy Orndorff, art and A busy typist, Business Editor Marian Newcomer works with layout editor, marks up a page. flashing fingers.

PIl0LOG All the lL'0TllrS a stage. and all the men and iromen in it merely players. They hare their exils and their entrances: and one man in his time plays many puns. -Shakespeare. Tl1e members of the audience are nearly all seated. They wait eagerly, with muffled coughs and whispered conversations. Backstage, excitement also mounts as the stage manager scurries from dressing room to dressing room, heralding., '4Curtain time, three ininutesln Hearing this, the performer takes a last look in the mirror, squares his shoulders., and begins the nervous journey to his place in the wings. These are some of the emotions surrounding the 'opening of a new show. This aura of anticipation can be found in any theatre anywhere. We might seat ourselves in an audience and find the world around us a universal audience viewing a wonderful scene. This drama could be called 'LI-Iorizonsn, its cast might be any of us, and its plot, Life itself. 5
