DI RY OF ANNE FRA K The heartbreaking tale of a German family during the Nazi anti-Semetic campaign of World War II was presented by the Thespians on January 29-30 under the direction of Miss Caro- lyn Vernon. A cast of nine led the audience through horrors felt by the families during a two year stay in the attic. All will remember Anne and Peter, Margot, the gracious Franks and the greedy Van Daans. Through Anne's diary the audi- ence suffered in silence as the families were eventually sepa- rated into different concentration camps. Only Mr. Frank re- turned to tell the tale of their horrible end. The Diary of Anne Frank is a production unequaled in excellence and will remain a living memory to the many hours of work put in by the entire drama department, and to all the parents and students who witnessed the stirring presentation. 22l
