BRLII BRIGADE FQLLIE Campus Capers was talent at its best when the curtain rose December 11 and 12 on the annual Bruin Brigade Follies. The scenery depicted a g'typical high school setting, while before the lights were introduced. numbers ranging from song and dance to blackface, pantomime. and various type of chorus lines. The glittering show boasted Joel Spivak as emcee, and welcomed the Mystics and Debonaires back , ff f '4 'lf.z.-'-'H :a.'Mx xr.-'f 1. as we ,T Wi' N50 af' Q' for their second engagement at the Follies. Credit where credit is due belongs to Mr. Tom Ferguson and Mrs. Mildred Elkins, directors, and all the others who helped make the show a success. Beauties . . . THE SNOW KING AND QUEEN :Q A THE Smokey McWhorter Vonn Sandifer Diane Scoggins Ken Arnett Sporting a festive Christmas atmosphere. the Gun Club set the scene for the annual senior class spon- sored Snow Dance on December 18. Hal Kidder and his orchestra entertained the many people in attend- ance. Highlighting the evening was the announcement of the Snoiv Royalty. Ruth Ann Gumney and Dick Jesse copped top honors of King and Queen. The royal court was represented by Diane Scoggins, Smokey McWhorter, Vonn Sandifer. and Ken Arnett.
