Junior, Mary Beth Mouritsen, Sophomore, and Dorothy Shelledy, Freshman Friday evening the Queen and her attendants rode to the field on a special float, which had been built by FFA members At the half, the band led the float around to the east side of the field, marched oown the SO-yaro stripe and split into two long lines The float rolled between the lines, end Miss Clawson was presented to the crowd Jerrianne Griffith, 1950 Homecoming Queen, presented Mies Cllwson with a bouquet of Chrysanthemums, whereupon, the band formed the sweetheart and played 'Sweetheart of Sigma Chi ' After the game, and in spite of the defeat, students and elulni enjoyed a Homecoming dance at the school. The Chapter was actlve in helpinf develop the shop pro'ral in the new building, as well as helping put in 300 feet of side walk. . They also assisted with the Adult Yiiht School Program.
