Thirteen years ago into Vlss Ch1sholm's kindergarten room fouzty bright young students began their first try at school Of that fourty, eleven are graduating seniors, Evelyn Baker, Bonnie Baker, Mary Harmon, Donna Lvons, Ellen Morgan, Melba Putman, Sue Rodawig, Barbara Kleasath, Bud Becker, David Kidd and Frances Fronk During our first grade year we were joined by Nancy Graves and Delores Raneford Nancy left but came back in our sophomore year In second grade Don Reed Joined our group Miss Wilson and Miss Sneed helped us through the third grade Ken Swanson, Joan Osgerby, and Doris Phillips were new classma'es Fourth grade was uneventful In fifth grade we were Joined by Borge Bak and Roger Jones we were then ready for Junior High with the aid of Miss Lee In sixth grade we were joined by Darlene Schumacher and Wayne Northy In seventh we were to welcome Barbara Butler, Robert Christoffer, Wen dal Clark, Bruce Johnson, Stella Locey, Alice Locey, Phyllis Whaley, and Bert Harris mann joined us Now we were ready for High School John Beuthien, Dean Bundy, Rose Bundy, Alfred Coyer, Marjorie Froendt, Regina Kiger, Audrey Oliver, Delores Shephard, Nelda Smith, and Marilyn Morgan Joined us as Freshmen Our sophomore year Joan Ladegaard, Orwin Msehlhouse and Elaine Nor grant were added to our class La Belle Hillman joined us for our Junior year This last year, our Senior year, Georgia Carroll and Allen Phillips made our class complete Since our eighth grade year 26 students have moved away or dropped If they had stayed that would have made a graduating class of 74, but we are graduating 48 in number with fond memories of Dpirit Lake School SPIRIT LAKE HONOR SOCIETY Seniors 1951 Barbara Klesath, Sue Rodawig, Don Reed, Audzey Oliver, Nancy Lee Bert Harris, and Regina Kiger I A .
