Clark Gem be- came Registrar in 1954, She is a. graduate of Elmira College and received her MA. degree from Columbia University. The Assistant Registrar is Mrs. Grace J. Perry trightj, who earn- ed the HS. degree from Hampton Institute and the MA. degree from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. DEAN OF INSTRUCTION Dr. Oran W. Eagleson is now in his third year as Dean of Instruction. He has the never-ending task of formulating course scheduleg for every student here at Spelman. He is also head of the Department of Education and Psychology. OFFICE OF THE DEAN OF WOMEN The office of the Dean of Women is the core of all social activities held at Spelman. Miss Mayme Jacobs UighU came to Spelman College as Dean of Women in 1955. She holds an AB. degree from Southern University and the MA. degree from New York University and has done further study at Syracuse University. Mrs. Marie Gopher 0er serves as Assistant Dean. She is a graduate of Clark College with an Ed. M. degree from Boston University. The secretary of the Office is Mrs. Isabel G. Webster tccntert, who received both her B.S. and LL. B. degrees from Boston University.
