THE PRESIDENTS OFFICE Dr. Albert E. Manley became President of Spelman College in 1953. Dr. Manley is a graduate of Johnson C. Smith University. He was awarded the MA. degree from Columbia Univttrsity and the Ed. D. degree from Stanford University. He came to Spelman from North Carolina College at Durham, where he was Dean of the Undergrad- uate School. THE PRESIDENT AND MRS. MANLEY AT HOME Mrs. Dorothy Manley, the gracious companion of the president, is a familiar personality on our campus. She is sponsor of the Y.W.C.A. and is deeply interested in student affairs. She is a charm- ing hostess and an asset to the college community.
