The Board of Advisers of Spearfish high school is composed of two representatives elected from each class, and one member of the faculty, who in turn is selected by the Board members. The Board serves as the official student body which meets with the superintendent and principal to dis- cuss and recommend school policies and procedures. Many fine school projects have had their inception in these meetings. The Board also formulates plans for student functions such as the election and corona- tion of the Spearfish high school queen.
