Drama The house lights went off. We became Lancelot or Die Fledermaus or Harry. We could all put ourselves in a part at the same time. We were one as an audience, as the actors evoked laughter, melancholy, or suspense. The house lights went on. We became ourselves again, but we left the auditori- um feeling a little closer to each ot her. Far left: USL ' s Opera Guild produced Die Fledermaus at the Lafayette Audi- torium. I . . . Participation Participating in the hard work and in the fun is one of the best aspects of college life. We were happy being united in group work that helped us to know each other and the universi- ty better. Extreme left: Mary Jones enthusiastically participated at pep rallies.
