Chorus Membership in the University Mixed Chorus is open to all students alike on an elective credit basis. Its objectives are to provide students with the opportunity of performing the finest in choral music including the great classics, the works of the romanticists and of modern day composers; to ser ' e as a choral nucleus for the musicals and operas presented by th e University Opera Guild; to foster a greater appreciation of the fine arts, music in particular; to contribute to the cultural development and pleasure of students, faculty, the community, and the state. Biological Society The U. S. L. Biological Society was organized by the late Professor George B. Claycomb to acquaint students with the many fields of biology. The Biology Club meets bi-monthly presenting guest lectures, films, field trips, and an annual picnic. It sponsors annually the Audubon Wildlife Film Series on campus. First Row: Clarence A.
