A most cheerful atmosphere surrounds you as you wind your way to Guillory Hall, popularly known as the Stu, . . the anxiety of someone checking his box in the post office, just hoping that he has something in it besides dust. . . . the groups of boys emerging from the Club Room, where commuters as well as regular students may go to relax and study. . . . the social-minded professors as they chat with the students, something that promotes a good teacher- student relationship here on campus. . . . the hustle and hustle of our collegiate set as they eat dinner in the O. K. Allen Dining Hall, which is located across the street from the Stu. ET 4 l l ' 1 9 l I Q E u l 1 it i - . f' it 4. , 1 i i t ftp-. .s i Q - 1 ' N 1 l 1 , ' . w c ' W W , l 1 I, 4, . Now is the time for the saying of Hall work and no playu to be reversed. With such a good setting as the new Dupre' Library, how could anyone help but make good grades! Here are a few situations to show you what we mean: . . . the intense attention of an engi- neering lab class that makes you think of the hours of work that those boys ' . put into their calculus, dynamics, and other such courses. . . . the privacy of a study room in the library which offers you an opportunity to concentrate on your Work for that test coming soon or just to review your ma- terials in a sound-proof room where no distractions can take your eye off that page. . . . the delicious smells of a home economics cooking class that float out of the windows of Lee Hall and tempt you while on your way to classes in Broussard or Mouton Halls. 1 S far' 'ff'-'f 1 . 2 ,ix sr - 4- ft -L T: , If yivlj. ll gt lf' 1 Ks - 1?
