For The firsT Time in SouThwesT's hisTory a Mr. All-American SouThwesT would be crowned. The genTlemen parTicipaTed in casual wear, swimsuiT, and formal wear compeTiTions, and all acTive- ly parTicipaTed in a TalenT perfor- mance ThaT was noT To be judged. Freshmen Donald Cager, Kevin PiTTman, and AnThony Morris joined Juniors Bill Hallgren, Phillip Morris, u Being a contestant was fun. The audi- ence seemed to have o good tim? which was grea. Tommy Stacy, '72 f 7 and Tommy STaoy as They sTopped The show wiTh Their unique rendiTion of i'Barpara Ann. As The con- TesTanTs prepared for each compeTiTion, The audi- ence was enTerTained by The SouThwesT Show Choir, a dance by The VarsiTy Cheerleaders, and a come- dic barbershop auarTeT. AfTer all of The impressive parTicipanTs had finished 'lsTruTTin' Their sTuff, one winner emerged. Tommy STacy won The TiTle of Mr. All-American SouThwesT, as well as Taking The award for llPreTTiesT Smile. When and Adrian Adams, To impress Their classmaTes by dancing To Going back To Cali.
