The people, places, activities, sports, and clubs are what make Southwest home. This year we didn't have much in our favor facing a new sponsor, whom, if I may add, helped out tremendously, our new staff members, and our somewhat troublesome photographers. Somehow we pulled through our disadvantages and produced what I believe to be one of the finest books ever issued at Southwest. My staff members and I worked endless hours trying desperately to put this book together. Countless nights were spent trying to make deadlines and still we finished the book on time. Some may not realize the mega problems and difficulties of putting a yearbook together but let me assure you it is not an easy job. Meeting deadlines, getting workable pictures, and writing copy are only some of the problems staff members faced daily. Those of you who have negative remarks and criticism I ask that you keep them to yourself, because, as I have explained this year's Yee-Haw turned out quite exceptional. There are those whose pictures did not appear in the book, and I would like to apologize for this but troubles with photographers made this task difficult. And now, to those of you who see your face on every other page, thank-you for the use of it. We tried our best to include as many different people as possible.
