Activities preciation for music while they are being prepared for the Senior High Band. The Junior High Arrow Staff consisted of one representative from each homeroom. The reporters elected Betsy Howard as editor and Roy LaFayette as assistant editor. Mrs. Undine is the faculty advisor, and Mary Jo Smidell is the advisor from the Arrow. The Junior High Girls' Athletic Association provides an opportunity for the younger girls to carry their athletic interests beyond the physical education classes. Rcichmann, L. Erickson. The Freshman Choir membership this year was composed exclusively of girls. The 54 voice choir, directed by Mr. Dahle, performs for Junior High programs. Like their Senior High counterpart, the Junior High Student Council has done much for the school and should receive the credit due to them and to their advisor, Mr. Huseby. The Council, under the direction of President John Thiel, has sponsored several parties and conducted a discussion on the Teenage Code. Intramurals The boys’ Intramural program, under the direction of Mr. Ford and Mr. Banks, is an outgrowth of the regular physical education program. All boys are encouraged to participate and do so voluntarily. The members of the various home rooms organize their teams, elect their team captains and elect a team manager. The manager is responsible for keeping his teammates informed of the schedule and maintaining the team records. The annual Olympic Day is also a pari of the Intramural Program. Yup!
