G.A.A. Southwest should be very proud of its girls' teams. The swimming team, a branch of G.A.A. won the City Championship, with Barb Bowers the individual high point scorer. Those placing in the city meet, which Southwest won with a total of fifty-six points were: Barb Bowers. Joelle Cleary. Linda Libbey. Carol Steffy. Mary Jo Smidell. and Judy Green. Congelations! Two teams entered the Badminton tournament. According to Mrs. Boylan the record was Not so good' but the prospect looks good for next year.
